West Haldimand General Hospital welcomes new Board Chair
West Haldimand General Hospital (WHGH) is pleased to announce that Haley McIntosh has been elected Chair of the WHGH Board of Directors for a two-year term.
McIntosh has been an esteemed member of the Board of Directors since 2021 and has held various leadership positions, including Vice Chair and Finance Committee Chair.
In addition to her board experience, McIntosh’s professional background is in Finance as an accredited Certified Financial Planner. McIntosh has also held positions with various institutions in the capacity of Financial Planner. McIntosh has also held the position of Board Chair with the United Way of Haldimand Norfolk and as a member of the Governance, Finance, Campaign and Allocations committees.
“It is a great honour to be part of an organization that plays such an important role in ensuring the health and well-being of our community,” said McIntosh. “As a long-time resident of Haldimand County, I value giving back and lending my skills, time and expertise for the betterment of the community. I am fortunate to have a group of remarkable and diverse professionals as part of our Board leadership. Coupled with their passion for our rural Haldimand communities, our Board of Directors will help drive our new Mission, Vision and Values. I look forward to this new chapter.”
McIntosh succeeds Julie Richardson as Board Chair. Richardson has completed her term as Chair but will remain on the Board as the immediate past Chair.
WHGH is sincerely grateful to Richardson for her outstanding leadership and service as a board member and chair. Her dedication and sound judgement were steadfast as the Board worked with partners and communities to transform patient care at WHGH.
