Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is treatment to restore, maintain and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function and well-being. Physiotherapy helps through physical rehabilitation, injury prevention, and health and fitness. Physiotherapists get you involved in your own recovery.

A physiotherapist will assess your condition, provide education, prescribe a treatment plan and identify patient-specific treatment goals.

Treatment options may include:

  • Manual therapy
  • Modalities
  • Rehabilitative exercise therapy

Priority is given to referrals for acute conditions such post-surgical cases and fractures

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing should be worn for your appointment.

A physician’s referral is required for this service.

Please note that a waiting list may exist and referrals will be prioritized based on the medical information received. Individuals with private insurance and/or third-party coverage are encouraged to seek services at a community rehabilitation clinic or through a private provider.

Notification of a cancellation of an appointment is appreciated 24- 48 hours in advance.
