West Haldimand General Hospital invites the community to join us as BPSO Champions
(HAGERSVILLE) – West Haldimand General Hospital (WHGH) is on an exciting journey to become a Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO), and we need your help. To kick off this initiative, we’re hosting a special launch party on October 2, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at WHGH. This event is open to everyone, and it’s a great opportunity to learn more about becoming a Best Practice Champion and how you can make a difference in our community.
As a Best Practice Champion, you will be at the forefront of bringing evidence-based practices to WHGH, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care. This is your chance to make a real impact and be part of a dedicated team focused on healthcare excellence.
You’ll receive free training that suits your schedule through an online portal. After training, you’ll earn a certificate and a Best Practice Champion pin. You’ll then join a working group to help put best practices into action and share important knowledge with staff, residents, and families. You’ll also guide and support others, helping WHGH become a leader in delivering top-quality care.”
In addition to learning about becoming a Best Practice Champion, the launch party will celebrate our community’s rich agricultural heritage. Attendees will have access to some free swag, and raffle prizes. Local vendors will showcase fresh produce, meats, dairy, and handmade goods. If you’re interested in being a vendor at the event, please contact Jennifer Edwards, Director of Quality, at Jennifer.edwards@whgh.ca by September 11th, 2024. We will notify successful applicants by September 13th, 2024. Vendors can also apply by clicking here.
WHGH is eager to welcome more members of our community to join us as Best Practice Champions. Whether you’re passionate about healthcare, want to make a difference, or are simply curious about how you can help, we encourage you to attend the launch party and find out how you can get involved.
