NGH and WHGH Board of Directors name Todd Stepanuik as President and CEO
Monday, March 28, 2022 – The Board of Directors at Norfolk and West Haldimand General Hospitals are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Todd Stepanuik as the new President and CEO, effective July 11, 2022.
The appointment of Mr. Stepanuik was made after an extensive and rigorous executive search. Mr. Stepanuik has been serving as President & CEO at the Middlesex Hospital Alliance in Strathroy, Ontario for the past nine years.
“We look forward to having Todd’s experience and expertise propel us further toward our vision to be an inspiring model of what an exceptional healthcare experience should be,” said Marjorie Dawson – NGH Board Chair. “Todd’s depth of experience, servant leadership style, passion, and enthusiasm, as well as his ability to forge stakeholder relations, will be instrumental in charting the course for us.”
Mr. Stepanuik is a Certified Health Executive and holds a degree in Hospital/Business Administration. He is immediate past president/chair of the Canadian Chapter of the American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE) and was recognized in 2020 with a Service Award for his commitment to the healthcare management profession. He was also the recipient of the senior healthcare executive of the year award in 2021.
Mr. Stepanuik brings with him an extensive background in healthcare with over 30 years of executive leadership experience as President & CEO and demonstrated dedication to quality healthcare and patient safety.

The NGH and WHGH Board of Directors look forward to working with Mr. Stepanuik on many important initiatives that will improve health care services for residents in Haldimand-Norfolk.

The NGH and WHGH Board of Directors would like to thank Kim Mullins, who has served as the Interim President and CEO since August of 2021. During her tenure as Interim President and CEO, Mullins helped both organizations successfully navigate the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and began charting our road to post-pandemic recovery.
