The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit has activated an Influenza Hotline for members of the public to access with questions.  The hotline can be accessed at their regular switchboard numbers, 519-426-6170 or 905-318-6623. A prompt will direct people to the hotline extension, 3470.

In June of this year, the World Health Organization (WHO) raised the level of influenza pandemic alert from phase 5 to phase 6.  This level has not changed since.

West Haldimand General Hospital has taken precautions to prepare for an H1N1 Virus and have in stock, the necessary supplies to combat this virus should it appear in our community.
